BossDNA Taps Resource Network
The concept for BossDNA, like so many entrepreneurial ideas, was born out of a problem. The inventors – Jonathan Davenport, Wondabeka Ashenafi and Austin Wilcox – were all college level athletes working out at an athletic facility in Lee’s Summit, a distance from their homes in midtown.
“We had to bring all these proteins with us in baggies, and the shaker bottle on top of that, just to get our nutrition in right after workout. We’d all had experiences with bad shakers and not being able to store the supplements. Once day, coming back from a workout, we were like, ‘why don’t we create our own mixer bottle?’
“That’s where BossDNA started. We came up with a name on the way back.”
