How to Pitch to the Sandbox
Miss the ‘How to Pitch to the Sandbox’ session?
We’ve got you covered.
Where to Start?
The first step to landing Digital Sandbox KC funding is to apply! Applications are taken on a rolling basis and evaluation/selection cycles run for eight weeks. The application is your opportunity to tell us about your idea so we can find ways to get your concept to market. Keep in mind, the application will be viewed by the Sandbox team, those participating in your pitch for funding and by the board for voting purposes.
TIP: Thoroughly read the Frequently Asked Questions before you apply. Be sure you know how much funding is available (Hint: In order to help as many businesses as possible, project requests for specific amounts rather than defaulting to the maximum spend are preferred.
Once your application is submitted, we will reach out to you with any questions or to schedule your presentation. Presentations are scheduled on various Wednesday mornings during the quarter.
Planning for the Pitch
Your presentation is you chance to SHINE! You have 10 minutes. Make them count. Here’s what we expect you to cover in your 10-minute presentation.
“Don’t spend hours trying to make things look pretty. Content FAR outweighs style.”
