Nine Innovative Startups Accepted into Digital Sandbox KC, Accelerating Technology and Healthcare Innovations
Digital Sandbox KC has announced the acceptance of nine new startups joining its program. These diverse startups will receive crucial support, mentorship, and up to $20,000 in project funding to accelerate their innovative projects.
The chosen companies span various industries, from revolutionary aerospace-grade 3D printing technology to AI-driven solutions for golfers to a platform that streamlines tasks for hospitals.
Notably, this round of startups marks the beginning of a collaboration between Digital Sandbox KC and Digital Health KC, a new initiative focused on supporting and growing the digital health ecosystem in the region.

Meet the nine new companies joining the Sandbox.
As for Me and My Body – Shawnee, KS
As for Me and My Body helps Christians bridge their physical and spiritual health through its book and app which is an online accountability community.
“The Digital Sandbox KC funding will allow us to complete MVP 2 of our app which includes adding gamification, hosting and server upgrades, and overall UI/UX enhancements,” says Candice McField, founder and CEO. “We are beyond grateful for this opportunity because it will allow us to not only scale, but it will allow us to impact thousands of people across our nation.”
Dexer – Overland Park, KS (Digital Health KC)
Dexer is the “copilot for workers in motion.” For workers like veterinarians, Dexer enables them to slash their time spent on records by up to 50%.
“The mentorship, ecosystem and connections of Digital Sandbox will help us commercialize our generative AI product to grow our revenue in 2024,” says Bruce Rasa, co-founder and CEO.
Ear House Technology – Kansas City, MO
Ear House Technology simplifies audio post-production with one-button technology, catering to musicians, podcasters, filmmakers and content creators. Their innovative solutions streamline complex processes, making audio enhancement easy and accessible.

EzBizPortal – Overland Park, KS (Digital Health KC)
EzBizPortal transforms medical equipment operations, akin to what CarFax did for vehicle history. The company’s innovative platform streamlines tasks for hospitals and medical equipment vendors, offering features like automated repair logistics, compliance record management, and inventory tracking, all centralized for efficiency and compliance.

Leva – Kansas City, KS (Digital Health KC)
Leva is a comprehensive ecosystem that provides expectant and postpartum parents the support they need to thrive while helping employers attract and retain talent by offering this one-of-a-kind benefit.
“Digital Sandbox funding will provide us critical financial means to create a supportive experience for non-birthing parents/partners and caregivers, as well as allow us to integrate with larger HR Information Systems,” says Vanessa Jupe, founder and CEO. “Both of these are key requests from HR partners and prospects. We will also begin work on a community feature which is greatly anticipated by the parents on our platform.”
Noonan Caddie – Leawood, KS
An innovative startup helping golfers shoot lower scores. With cutting-edge AI, Noonan is your personal caddie delivering precision club and aim recommendations, transforming golfers’ doubts into decisive, informed shots.

Raven Space Systems – Kansas City, MO
Raven Space Systems is developing a new technology which enables 3D printing of aerospace grade materials for the first time ever. Raven is focused on 3D printing heat shields for space and hypersonic flight applications, drastically reducing the cost and increasing the speed at which these unique materials are produced.
“This grant from Digital Sandbox KC will help us build our industrial-sized 3D printer, helping us transition from a proof-of-concept stage to a full-scale prototype,” says Blake Herren, CEO.
