Knoda Hires 2 Engineers Including CTO
Knoda has hired startup veteran Adam England as the firm’s chief technology officer. England’s responsibilities will include architecture design, roadmap prioritization and leading the development staff. Knoda is currently available for download in the iOS App Store here.
“We are thrilled to have Adam join team Knoda,” CEO and Co-Founder Kyle Rogers said. “He has worked on the entire software stack and is passionate about building an engaging user experience around predictions.”
England previously worked at local startups Hoopla.io, Sporting Innovations and LiveOn. Before these startup experiences, England worked for Lexmark, Carfax and Archer Daniels Midland. He has worked at all levels of software development, from front-end web and mobile applications to API creation and database design.
“Knoda provides an addictive community experience,” England said. “The team is ready for the challenge of building first-class mobile applications, as well as the big data analytics to ensure that Knoda users interact with the hottest, most-interesting predictions.”
Knoda has also hired Nick Rellihan as a software engineer. Rellihan completed work on Knoda’s iPhone application. He previously worked at Sporting Innovations and then as an independent contractor.
“Nick is an extremely smart person and talented developer,” Rogers said. “We are fortunate that our first two hires are engineers with this much skill and passion for creating first-class products.”
Knoda anticipates releasing web functionality in late January, with an Android application to follow. Non-iPhone users can reserve their usernames at knoda.com/reserve.
